Install Problem

I am trying to install ACT 2009 on an older laptop running Windows XP. After installing NET Framework a reboot is required. After rebooting the installation goes back to the beginning of the process reinstalling NET Framework and requiring another reboot. It keeps repeating this loop. Any suggestions as to how to get past this.

Thanks, Steve Fitzgerald

Re: Install Problem

Hi stevefitz,

Go to Add/Remove Programs from the Control Panel and find .Net 4.0 as shown in the attached screen shot.

Remove both Client Profile and Framework. Note that one will need to be removed before the other.  It will tell you and I can't remember which!
