I am trying to import Outlook data and I go to the import under the file menu and click on it. The file menu dissappears and nothing happens.

Can you provide some additional information:
- What version of Act! are you running?
- What is the operating system for your computer?
- Is this database local to your computer?
- Can you access other functions under the File menu (ex: Export, Backup, Print)?
Try opening the Act!Demo database and test the import function > does the Import Wizard display?
