Sage recently released Hot Fix 2 for Sage ACT! 2012 SP1, which was designed to address an issue with sorting attachments by Modified Date under the Documents tab. We have discovered an issue with this hot fix relating to the original issue, so the update has been removed from our download site and from the Knowledgebase. We plan to release an updated Hot Fix to correct this in the next several days. An update will posted in this forum when the download becomes available.
If you have already applied Hot Fix 2 then the issue you will see is that when sorting the attachments by the Modified Date, the files will appear to in the correct order, but the actual files themselves remain in the original order. The result is that, after sorting, clicking an attachment to open it may result in opening the wrong file.
We encourage you to wait for the updated hot fix to correct this issue. Otherwise, you would need to uninstall and reinstall Sage ACT! 2012, applying all current updates with the exception of SP1 Hot Fix 2.
