Also, go to Contact LIst, Select All, or Tag the records you want in History. Control H. The contact you tagged or were in your look will be placed into contcact window. Enter your history Regarding and you're done.

Hi Mike. I've read this before and just noticed your comment about it only works up to 150 contacts. In ACT 2013 I've been using Microsoft's mail merge instead of ACT's mail merge. I then do as you said below, but the group is over 800.
It takes forever to create the history (subject only), but it does it. I, the user, can't tell, though, when it is completed as it stays on the screen. About 10 minutes later if I click anywhere on the screen, the update window closes and the history is there.
Bug? Am I pushing the limits? Should I think of a different way.
BTW, if I open one of the history entries, I have to wait for all contacts to scroll across that field.
Why Microsoft Mail Merge - Both ACT and eMailConnectPro don't seem to work well to me as far as how the eMail looks to the receiving party. Don't forget, I'm a single user and don't have the funds for one of the ACT services.
