I offer free samples. I want to see, for everyone who's received a sample, what stage their opportunity is in. Sounds easy? I want to know if people who get a free sample purchase more often than people who don't.
If someone requests a sample through my website, I enter "sample request" in the contact's User-defined Field #5. This makes it just about impossible to look at opportunity stage just for those people. How should I approach this problem?
I appreciate any assistance I may get.

Let me rephrase.
I can look at my opportunity list by:
status: Open, Closed-Won, Closed-Lost, Inactive
Date: All, Today, Past, etc.
Process: ACT! Sales cycle, others
Stage: Initial communication, needs analysis, etc.
Can I segment or filter opportunities on any other dimensions, like Group or State or User Field?
