I am having a problem backing-up my data base

Everytime I try to back up my data base it gives the the following error message:

The following error occurred during backup.  The backup was cancelled.

Cannot insert duplicate key row in object 'sys.syscommittab' with

unique index 'si_xdes_id'.

Failed to flush the commit table to disk in dbid 7 due to error 2601.

Check the errorlog for more information.

BACKUP DATABASE is terminating abnormally.

PRC_MAINT_BACKUPDB: ERROR EXECUTING DATABASE BACKUP
STATEMENT

The statement has been terminated.

I would appreciate any help with this.  Thanks!

Well, disregard this entry.  If I had taken the time to review previous posts, I would have seen this proble was already addressed by someone else previously.  I have successfully fixed my problem.
