I know that I can go via Preferences to have new notes default to the same font, size and color. But I'm often doing a cut and paste (from the Internet), and then having to manually change the new text to match the default MS Sans Serif (which is my preferred choice).
So....how can I make sure that everything typed or pasted is simply my default choice? (Also, I don't need hyperlinks in my notes, so I'd be happy to learn how to get rid of those.)

Pasting content into the Notes tab will retain the original formatting of the content. In order to strip the formatting, will first need to copy the content into Notepad, then copy that into the ACT! note. This will use the default formatting you have setup in ACT!. You may also be able to find some online and downloadable plain text converters you can try, but Notepad is the simplest way.
Note: Effective 6/1/13, Sage no longers provides support for the Act! software. This is now provided by Swiftpage.
