How to disable auto-attach for outgoing email from Outlook 2016

- ACT 18.2.53.0 Update 4

- Local DB

 

Hi,

I found outgoing email is automatically being attached to ACT Contact,

but I want to change it to manual process. 

 

Please advise how to disable auto-attach for outgoing email from Outlook 2016.

In Act! go to tools Preferences then click Email & Outlook Sync tab, then click E-mail System Setup and then in the Email – Record History screen make sure you have None selected. This will then not automatically save the email to history you need to click on the email add-ons tab and select the record to history option you want when the email has to be saved into Act!
