How to correctly share ACT 9 database among two people via 2003?

I have two non-admin users that want to share an Act 9 database via separate accounts on a Windows 2003 Server domain.

I cannot for the life of me figure out what needs to happen to make it work.

I have one user who is able to log in to his AD account, and can peruse the database that is on his computer.  I've tried all sorts of ways of backing up, exporting, saving to the root level of the users HD, etc... but cannot get a second user to log in to the same database.

For the record, the database has been set up to allow sharing and a second user has been set up for it.

Where do most of you guys place your databases?  It needs to run on a machine that is running Act, correct?   I can't offset this to the 2003 Server, right?

THANKS IN ADVANCE!

You can only put the database on the server if you also install ACT! there.

To share the database, have a look at the steps here:
