How to Specify Path for Networked Act

In a two computer LAN, where one computer is the server and the other the networked computer:

How do you specify the PAD file for the networked computer so it will see the correct PAD file on startup?

In our case, whenever the networked computer is booted up, we have to tell the ACT program how to find the PAD file.  Is there a way to specify the PAD file (like on our Server), so when ACT boots up on the Server Computer it automatically is pointed to the PAD file?

Thank you very much.

Re: How to Specify Path for Networked Act

ACT! should remember the last database you opened (assuming it is accessible).

However, if you only use one database you can set a specific database to open on startup.

To do so, open your database from the networked machine, then click Tools and Preferences.

From the Startup tab, select Startup Database, Named Database, and browse to the PAD file on your server.

OK your way out and ACT should always look for this database on startup.

This is not happening on the networked computer.  Is there anything which could be preventing this?  I need to troubleshoot it.
