How many versions must I keep buying?!?!

So far I have had to purchase 3 licenses for ACT!  This began in 2000.  Then a second copy for an upgrade in 2006, but when switching to Windows 7 when it first came out, you got it, a third copy had to be purchased.  NOW I've converted to Mac's, so this will mean a 4th copy IF I want to continue using ACT! by Sage.  I'm looking at other CRM software even now, BEFORE spending more with Sage.

You would think that after all this they would allow me to just switch and waive yet another purchase/upgrade, but from past experience I'm not holding my breath.

If you upgrade items that a software product integrates with, you'll most likely need to upgrade the software ...

Of course, there's nothing to switch to in this case as there hasn't been an ACT! for Mac since it was dropped some years ago

For a little perspective:  Are you still using the same PC you were 11 years ago in 2000?

 

Having upgraded ACT! just twice in more than a decade, I would say is pretty good ROI...
