I have successfully used Act's Mail Merge feature to send blast E-mails to our customers and prospects. To avoid e-mailing too often to contacts, I created a date field called "Last E-mail Blast". Using the same lookup as used for the blast, I use I use Edit-Replace to change "Last Blast E-mail" date to today. This simple system has worked well so far.
I would like to go to the next level and manage various smaller e-mail campaigns.
