I know you can delete them, but I can't see where you can do this in ACT and I know you can do this with other Sage products.

Thanks for the repsonse. We don't really use the opportunitites side and it is more from a "company" perspective that I was looking at.
I just don't want to have to "lose" the company data by deleting it!.

my "quick & dirty" solution:
generate a yes/no field on the basic layout
i.e. called "Inactive Contact" or even shorter "Inactive".
On subsequent lookups just add a criteria "Inactive = False" to filter the marked ones out.
