You'll need to use a current version of ACT! for x64 bit versions of Vista/Win7/Win2008

Welcome to the Sage ACT! Community. ACT! 2006 will not work with Windows Vista, Windows 7 or 64-bit systems. ACT! 2009 was the first version to support 64-bit and ACT! 2010/2011 support Windows 7.

I have windos 95 version of act. Just got newer system. how do I upgrade to 64-bit since it saying my software will not work. Is there a download?

Now is a good time to upgrade to ACT V16 which runs with 64 bit. It also works with current version of MS Office.
