How do I manually sort sub-folders within groups?

I have run into this challenge many time before finally deciding to ask. What I am looking for is a way to manually prioritize sub-folders within a parent thus overriding the system preformatted/alphabetical sort. For example: I have group called "Morning routine" and under that I have, prospects 1,2,3 a+,b,c and so on. What I have done in the past is to place a tilde (~) before each folder name and add as many as was required to promote or demote that folder. This system is not particle. Any advice about a best practice, one that can be applied to any named folder?  TIA

What about starting your folder AND subfolder names with a number ?

Re: How do I manually sort sub-folders within groups?

It would be nice if the organizational structure of groups and companies was relationational such that there was a parent child structure, but that is not the way it is set up.  Each group is independent of each other group.  Sage lets us build the sub groups to make it easy for manual organization, but there is no relation between the two.  For this, it is what it is.
