I am using Act Pro version 16, Windows 7.
The data base, which my assistant and myself are using, is on her computer.
I would like to disable my logon screen only, not hers, when I open Act.
Is there a way to do this. I cannot find anything on the community.

The only time Act will automatically log you into your database is when there is only one active user, and your password is blank.
In any other scenario, you are required to log in to the database on startup. Act will remember the last database you selected, and can be set to remember your password, so that you only need to click 'OK' or hit enter on startup to log into your database.

Thanks, how unfortunate. We have moved our office and this office uses Goldmine on a office server so we are running two CRMs for now and the foreseeable future.
We have not been able to transfer our history and notes and are doing a manual copy and paste. It is a tidiest job seeing we have slightly over 1,000 families to transfer.

It might be worth contacting one of our Act Certified Consultants to give you some help with this. Most will have extensive experience moving companies from one CRM system to another. Find one local to you using our Partner Finder: http://partners.act.com/search

If it is any help ACT does have an Import Goldmine option built in but years since I used it so not sure how comprehensive it is about getting all Goldmine data.
