Hi, I actually have a few versions of SQL on my laptop.  It's my understanding that the version ACT installs is what we call an "ACT Instance", and only holds/hosts the ACT data files.  If you have another app that connects to the 2000 version, or just SQL as a stand-alone app, it should not be an issue.
