With the Standard version of Act!, you can define up to 10 'Active' users.

As 'Active' userss, do mean users who are logged into the same database at the same time?

In other words, can you have 12 users listed in the database but only 10 'Active' users can be logged in at once?

Re: How Many users in Same DataBase ACT! by Sage 2010 Standard ?

'Active' refers to users which have signed into the database and been assigned a license/seat.  It does not refer to concurrent signons.  Act! Standard (or 2011 Pro) is limited to 10 Active users.  If you define 12 users to the database, only 10 of them will be able to access the database - the other 2 will not even if the other 10 users are not signed on.

You can see your active users by going to Tools > Manage Users. The users status will be displayed with their name - Active, Active-Pending Login, or Inactive. The standard version only allows 10 users to be active. You make an Active user Inactive if you need to free up a login for another user.
