How Do I Create An Empty Database Using My Modified Database

Ver 10

I've modified my database with additional fields and modified layouts.

How do I copy the database structure and give it to another co-worker to use on hisw computer.

We are both individual users and do not share data between us.

File | Save Copy As | Create an empty copy of the database. Note it does not include the modified layout in the empty copy, you will need to copy them separately in Windows.

Re: How Do I Create An Empty Database Using My Modified Database

Thank you so much.

Can you tell me which file I need to copy that has the layout?  Or better yet, can you tell me where to look to get a definition of the files that make up ACT?

Thank you so very much for your help.

There are only three main database field and the extensions are ADF, ALF and PAD with PAD being just a pointer files. There are database supplemental files stored in subfolders at the same location as the database files and the contact layout files have the extension CLY.
