What latest version / service pack am I supposed to be using for my Sage ACT! Pro 2011
My current version is: Version 13.0.401.0, Hot Fix 2. ?
Recent update attempts failed;
Hot fix 5 did not install and spk1 update gave me error msg stating I did not have enough disc space(300mb). I do have it.

Yes this is a win-7 pro pc - From the compatabillity mode tab, I had to select run as administrator and had to select run compatabillity mode for xp servc pak3.. The act db opened & updated, I changed the settings back from xp srvc pak3 mode and it seems to be updated to hotfix5 successfully now. Seems like this is one of those times when ACT! software should have been smart enough to resolve this issue on its own. One of the ACT! 2011 problems has now been resolved so I can rite mouse click on a memo field and see the field name. Thank you for the help. Had me shut down for a few days on this this pc. To get to the latest updated state, you will need to apply SP1 - then update with Hotfix 5.
For the error about insufficient space, it may be the Windows quirk of having available space being a multiple of 4. Here is an article addressing this: KB Article 14362

Nope.. that did NOT fix it. Here's what happened. I thought the download may be bad as you suggested so I downloaded spk1 with hotfix1 included. At first it appeared to have worked, but now when I try to open ACT, I get a error message: ACT! has stopped working. Now What? thanx - fsb

Try changing the Compatibility Mode for ACT!. Instructions are within this article: KB Article 20539
If this is a Windows 7 os, change the compatibility mode and open ACT! > if successful, close ACT! and change the compatibility mode back and attempt to open.
