Using ACT! 10.0
Outlook 2007 configured as email editor
I know I should not have been, but I was learning email merging with some 'live' contacts. And now I am in a mess.......
Went thru the mail merge wizard, expecting at some point to see my email template and draft. Finished the wizard, but did not expect the merge process to start launching out emails.....
How do I abort the sending process ? I have searched by disk for temporary files, but found nothing, checked my Outlook Outbox, but nothing there either. However, Outlook clearly knows there are messages to be sent, as its status bar shows it uploading and trying to send a large number of messages.
What I really need to know is where these messages are and how do I kill/delete/halt them ?
For now, I have stopped using Outlook, for fear of the draft/experimental mail message being sent to my 'live' contacts.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated !

One of the things that I tink you can do during tests in the future is to set your Outlook to "Work off line" (File > Work off-line).
This will allow you to do everything but send messages out of your "Out box".
