Having Problems sharing the database between users

Our ACT was working fine for several months and we recently moved offices. Our PC's are connected through a small office network and when we re hooked everything up the main computer which holds the database is working. However when we tried to access the database from the other PC we got the following error message:

Cannot find database suplimental files. folder CalgaryRecruiting-database files in this location 1-pc. this could be a problem with the share or the folder may not exsist.

We checked several times and the second PC can see all the shared folders on the first PC and it can also see the dtabase but it just will not open in ACT. Is anyone else having this problem? We double checked that it is not behind a firwall and we can find the .pad file but still will not open.

Can anyone help with this problem please

Re: Having Problems sharing the database between users

Hello CalgaryRecuiting,

Welcome to the Sage ACT! Online Community!

Here is an article with instructions for this issue: KB Article 19876

First try disabling the Share option, then re-enable it (Tools > Database Maintenance > Share Database), test.  If not resovled, try the steps in the article.
