Tech support indicates it's a "known issue". I am not able to register via the internet. Tech support believes it's because of my company's security settings. So I have to call the registration line each time. (4 times so far)
Tech supports solution is to just 're-register'. Or not 'un-plug' my laptop from the dock.
Anyone have a better (actual) solution?

The issue is related to the Protexis and multiple NICs. This is a known issue and is currently under investigation.
As a possible workaround, you can open ACT!, then plug into the docking station. In some environments, you're unable to plug into the docking station unless with the laptop turned on. If this is the case, then the workaround will not work.
