Tried to change my user name and add a new one- which worked fine. I made the user type "admin" which created it but made it status pending. THen I changed my original user type to standard thinking when I logged out it woould make hte new user I created the admin. When I log in as the new user it tells me there are not enough licenses...- o.k. I understand, but now my original user name is only standard and I can't get into database maintenance. Any ideas?

This is an unfortunate situation but there are ways to resolve it.
Do you have a current backup (before changing users) that you can restore?
If not, what version of Act! are you running?
