My hard drive crashed. I am hoping that our IT guy can recover the ACT! files. I, sadly, have not done a backup recently. Is there any hope if I can get the ACT! files (our IT guy is pretty good). What should I do?
Note: I was able to unpack the remote database and create a new ACT! database, but since I am (was) the owner, I am not sure what to do, since there currently is no "owner" of the database (that computer is out of the picture).
PS: I have ACT!2007.

Which drive crashed? The main or the remote?
What version of ACT! (the full build from Help | About)?

The main hard drive crashed on my PC. The remote database is still good, and my assistant can still work with the information, but cannot synchronize.
I have ACT! 2007 (9.0) Version 22.214.171.124
