HTC TYN_II & DIAMOND synchronisation

Im having some dramas with sync-ing my HTC handsets to ACT! v10.

Ive tried a few programs and forums to help, but no luck so far!

Ive gone through the steps to set a remote databse for the handset,

As those devices use Win Mobile 6.0, the link that comes with ACT! doesn't support them.

I would look at Handheld Contact, which will work fine with those devices

Re: HTC TYN_II & DIAMOND synchronisation

Thanks for the speedy reply Mike - i had not been able to find the answer anywhere else... I've installed the software but now get a error after i enter in the user name & password for the database in the window of Handheld Contact Last ACT! database used: E:\admin\client databases\Handheld Sync\client.pad ACT! administrator: xxxxx ACT! admin password: xxxxxx -- "Could not load file or assembly 'act.framework, version9.0.174.0, culture=neutral, publickeytoken=ebf6b2ff4d0a08aa' or one of its dependencies. The ststem cannot file the file specified --- Any thoughts on this?

Are you installing HHC on the machine running the database or on a different machine?

If on a different machine, is it a workgroup or domain?

im installing the HHC on the machine running the main database.

we're only running two users and the other user syncs to my machine.

I believe the new v11 will support Mobile 6.

Yeah, but not with the functionality of HHC
