After 2 yrs NO problems all of a sudden when trying to sync my laptop to my desktop I am getting the message:
Unable to acquire Sync Set object.Server Error Describtion:
Failed To Find main database
[//DESKTOP/] fotr sync. Contact your administrator for assistance.
I have tried to recreate? rewrite? etc. PLEASE HELP!
& THANK YOU!
Also curious abouty the new ACT 2013 differences? Better? easier? more user friendly? etc.

It appears something has changed within the sync environment. Here is an article with troubleshooting steps: KB Article 16533
To help determine differences in your current version vs. 2013, please provide your current version of ACT!. I'll leave it up to Community members to comment on the latest version, but here is an article with information about new features in Sage ACT! 2013: KB Article 30365

went thru and checked to make sure both are the same: YES
went thru each step to confirm ports, names, est correct: YES
Did database maintenence on both Desktop & Laptop: YES
Still having the same issue???
