Just bought ACT V10 2008. Installed, went to create DB and received error message regarding SQL. Sage has no weekend tech support and I am sitting here quite upset. Can someone help or have any suggestions?
The MSSQL server may not be running. Right click on My Computer and choose Manage, expand Services and Applications then click on Services and look for SQL Server (ACT 7) and click on it. If it says Stopped, click on Start the service.
Thank you for the advice although it did not provide the intended result. I did as advised and then tried to create DB. Error said Unable to create DB. There is an error connecting to the MS SQL server.Any other suggestions? Thanks so much
