Group not sorting correctly

Hi,

 

For some reason the contacts in Groups are not sorting correctly.


For instance, I have a specific Group that I am sending mailers to. I double click on Groups while I'm in Contacts which brings up on the left hand side, all Groups we have. I drill down to the specific group I'm interested in.

 

At this point, I have a list of each of the contacts in the specific Group I'm sending mailers to and I should be able to click on the top one and have them all listed alphabetically in the original Contacts view. That's not happening, however. For some reason the top company listed, ends up being 14 in the Contact view instead of being 1.

 

It's happening with all my Groups and I can't figure out why. Does anyone have an explaination for this?

We're using Sage ACT! Premium 2012 Version 14.1.108.0

If I'm understanding correct what you're doing, the sort of the contacts on the contacts tab on the group screen has nothing to do with the sort on the main contact screen. If you right click on the group name and choose create lookup, that creates a lookup on the contact screen that can be sorted.
