From Act 2005 to Act Pro 2011 ??

I'm here for a client. He came in my store with 2 laptops. The old one with Act 2005 and the new one and asked me to install Act! Pro 2011. He asked to to transfer his things from Act 2005 to Act Pro 2011. So I've tried everything. I tried exporting, backuping his 2005 things on a usb drive then into the new one and nothing is working. How am I supposed to take his files from 2005 and transfer it to his new Act 2011 Pro ?

Thank you in advance.

Is the ACT! 2005 standard or premium?

I believe it is standard when I go in the "about" section it says nothing about it so I'm guessing it is standard.

Than a backup from the 2005 version should restore and update to the new version but you will need to do it as a Restore As and give the database a new name.

If you have not already done, then disable User Account Control on the new machine.
