Evening all!
Currently a small company of about 6 or 7 users have ACT! 6.0 installed on their machines. We would like to upgrade to Sage ACT! 2013 15.0, but are worried that such a large jump in software will not correctly move the data and may result in software problems.
Keeping in mind the Service Packs for Outlook that will be needed, are there any other packs, programs or softwares needed to make the switch? Will ACT! automatically transfer the data from the old version to the newer one? What steps should we take as precautionary measures prior to attempting the upgrade?

Bethany,
I would recommend that you get in touch with an ACT! Certified Consultant to help you with the upgrade. They specialize in ACT! and they can help make an upgrade like that go a lot more smoothly. I would also recommend that you plan on getting a little training on the new version. There have been quite a few changes since ACT! 6 and some training will make the transition a lot smoother for your users.
