I couldn't find information on this when I searched so I'm hoping someone here can help.
I've used Tools/Design Layouts/Contact to create a new tab by then going to Edit/Tab.
I have the new tab but can't find where I edit the formatting for it. Right now, it doesn't allow me to do anything. I'd like to be able to either add text or attac a document to it.
Can anyone help me with this?

Thanks. I'm still lost, unfortunately. I've gone into Properties but can't find it. Everything I try isn't giving me what I need.
All I need is to format a new Tab. Should be fairly simple, right?

Which version do you have?
Once you open the properties windows from the View menu, a small floating window called "Properties" should open. Any object that you click on (in your case a tab) causes the Properties window to present the formatting options available for that object.

905, Sorry. I should have said I'm using 2008.
I do get the Properties window, like you mention. When I double click on the new Tab I've created, Properties changes to the tab. Under it are the following options:
Appearance - Background Image and Text (the name of my new tab shows here)
Misc - Background Color and Tooltip Text.
Nothing in here seems to give the ability to format the Tab.
Thanks for your help.

I tried using the left toolbar but can't figure it out.
I also did a search on the board to see if there's anything listed for Configure Tab. Also tried the Knowledge Base, but no luck anywhere.
Can you point me somewhere I can get directions on how to do it?
