Formating Mailing Labels

When I print labels from a subgroup, it prints the contact before the company name. I would prefer some control such as "Att: John Smith" but, after the company name and before the address. I have looked at Avery label report in the report writer but the field names don't seem to match what is actually on the label. In report designer it reads:

Custom

[C:Company]

[C:Address 1]

[C:Address 2]

Custom

Thanks for any asstance,

Andrew

Re: Formating Mailing Labels

The custom fields are used to concatenate two or more database fields in a single line. The custom field at the top is for the contact name and the one at the bottom is for the city state and zipcode.

Re: Formating Mailing Labels

Thanks, that helps. I struggled through and got my lables working for now but, the custom field makes the city, state, zip info look more professional. Next will be figuring out how to work with the custom fields. Best Regards, Andrew
