Filter Calendar

I am using ACT! by Sage 2007 (9.0) Version 9.0.1.162, Hotfix 1

Each time I log into Act, I have to redo my view, filter calendar view. I want only to see meetings, vacations and personal items and don't want to see cleared items. These settings don't stick from day to day.

Conversely, on the task list I only want to see to dos and calls and not see completed items. This is accomplished thru view, filter task list. These settings do stick from day to day.

This drives me nuts, what do I do to fix it?
