Filemaker pro vs. Act

I have been an ACT user for a number of years.  I am about to take over a company that has been using Filemaker Pro for years.  Does anyone have experience running FM Pro and how does it compare, the good and the bad, to ACT.

Not really, but I thought some of the features of ACT prior to 2006 were based on the same process Filemaker uses.

Re: Filemaker pro vs. Act

I found filemaker pro a lot more dynamic because you can really adapt it well to your needs. However, in my experience, you REALLY need to know what you are doing to actually make structural changes etc. Act! appears to be a more simple solution (if I can ever get it to install!!!)
