I am having a problem with synchronising that I thought was my imagination, but I have confirmed it.
We have a main database, and 4 laptops that synchronise with it. We sometimes have machines that have records updated, but when they sychronise, randomly, some of the changed records don't synchronise. I am looking now at a record on my machine, which matches the main database, but one field is not matching on anothers machine.
Sometimes, this can happen, and after two or three synchs it works. Any ideas?

You should first of all:
1. Download and apply the ACT! 2008 (10.0.3) Service Pack - http://tinyurl.com/m4kgu7, then
2. Download and Apply the ACT! 2008 (10.0.3) Hot Fix 2 - http://tinyurl.com/nn37zp.
You should apply these to ALL Servers and PCs running ACT!.

Planning on doing this today thanks.
I have a questoin though. In the info regarding installing 10.0.0.3 it says....
If you are using ACT! Network Sync service or ACT! Internet Sync service, you must also update these services to 10.0.3 as well. Please see the following Knowledgebase articles on updating to the 10.0.03 sync services:
Is this something different from just settin gup Sync on the main database, and haveing the other laptops snch to it on the Lan? How do I know if I need this additional update?
