Please can I also get the fully patched installation?
I am struggling to get act installed (now I have removed it because of this service pack update).

It appears there are files/registry entries that are not being removed with the uninstall. Try the following:
- Install ACT! using the original install disk (does not contain update)
- Use the ACT!Uninstaller utility to uninstall, see article: KB Article 19338
- Reboot computer
- Attempt install with fully updated file (one I provided)

With the uninstaller crashing, it could be a damaged Microsoft .NET Framework installation. Review the following article for steps to reinstall .NET: KB Article 19385
