Exporting ACT! by Sage 2010 DB to a mySQL 5.x Database

We are now on ACT! by Sage 2010 Version 12.1.181.0, Hot Fix 1 running on Windows 7 Professional.
Would like to export Contacts & Companies separately to a  mySQL 5.x Database.
Can anyone show me how to do it ?

Appreciate any help. Tks

The simplest and easiest way to accomplish this is to purchase and use 'Exporter' from JL Technical

http://www.jltechnical.com/exporter.htm

It exports ALL ACT data to separate files and you can then upload those files into MySQL.  Probably would take ½ hour total start to finish.

Others can comment on how to do this without buying 'Exporter' and it would take much more than ½ hour - depends on what your time is worth.

Michael,

Doing it that way, do you get to the actual tables, or just views?  Are things like the GUID hidden?  Are linking fields exposed?  So that they can re-link the contacts to companies once they're in MySQL?
