Export to Excel button grey - does not give the option ?

Hi everyone, i was wondering if someone has some insight.??  - i get my ACT database by "restoring" a backup file from our main server ( i live in another state, we are not using syncronization at this time)

 

I am not able to export to excel because the button is not functional, it's shaded grey and i cannot use it... what should i do?? I followed the ACT help steps and i am logged on as an administrator, so that's not the problem.... ??? Any suggestions?? I did upgrade to Microsoft 2007 recently so i have a newer version of excel...

Office 2007 is only supported in ACT! 2008/2009.  If you're already on the correct version of ACT!, then you will need to reinstall ACT!.  The reason being is that ACT! requires Office to be installed before installing ACT!.  Since you upgraded Office didn't reinstall ACT!, the Office integration will not be there.
