You want to disable User Account Control (UAC). Instructions are in KB Article 25665.
Note: Effective 6/1/13, Sage no longers provides support for the Act! software. This is now provided by Swiftpage.

Bill Williams [FILL STAFF] • I use a modem and Magic Jack with no add-on required. Net Talk may also work with no add-on needed and can be connected to the router instead of the pc allowing you to use phone with pc turned off.. www.exponenciel.com sells a voip add-on that involves majic jack. Virtually no phone bill at all. Cheers - Bill Williams - Fill Staff
Bill Williams [FILL STAFF] • In my previous post I should have mentioned; I have used Magic Jack for 3+ years on mulitple pc's and have had very minimal issues ever. The only reason I mite use NetTalk someday is that you can also run it from your router allowing you to use phone with pc turned off. I used to spend $1k-$3k every month on phone bills @ 3 cents per minute, now I have no phone bills. Magic Jack is saving me at least $6k- $12,000 per year - Very good quality - full featured - NO complaints at all.- www.magicjack.com - - No other voip addons needed to work with ACT! auto dialer -- Cheers

Win 7/64 - Office 2010 Professional Plus - ACT! by Sage Premium 2010 Version 126.96.36.199, Hot Fix 1
If not, are there any current options?

ACT! 2010 isn't and won't be compatible with Office 2010. The option is to upgrade to a later version of the ACT! program.
