Expired Remote Database

Does anyone know if there is a way to unexpire an expired remote database in ACT! 2008?

It can't be done. If it is ACT! 2006 or later, one last sync from the remote to the publisher is allowed but then you need to make a new remote database.

I dont think you can -- but you could just create a new rdb (remote data base) and set it to the max (I think that is 365Days)

I have ACT 2012 and has an expired remote database.  How do I complete the one last sync to the publisher database?

Hello Jhcline,

Welcome to the Sage ACT! Online Community!

There was a change to the behavior of expired databases (in 2010 or 2011 I believe), so that expired databases no longer are prevented from synchronizing after '1 last sync'.  The expiration date now is the trigger for the reminder prompt 'have not synchronized in ## days'.  You should be able to continue synchronizing as normal.  Are you getting an error when you attempt to sync?
