Error when creating Sync Set

Good day ACT! users... I am getting the following error on my initial attempt to create a sync set.


 "Unable to insert sync set subsciption. Setuser failed because of one of the following reasons: the database principal 'ACTSYNC' does not exist, its corresponding server principal does not have server access, this type of database principal cannot be impersonated, or you do not have permission."


I am logged in as an Admin user, and have a .PAD file for other users, but we are switchin over to remote databases so we can keep synchronized and have access outside the LAN. Please help as there is only one article on this site relavant to this error and there was never an answer to it on that article.

See if you can create a sync set in a different database.  If you're able to, try running database maintenance in your database from actdiag.
