Your database cannot be accessed. In order to access check your network connection and verify that your database server is available. It may be necessary to disable any firewall software on your computer or server.
So, my server is working fine and I haven't added any firewall software. I will tell you that when I log into my Outlook Express it asks me if I want to sync my outlook with Act. I dont know if this has anything to do with it.

From your description, it appears the database is located on the server and can open - is that correct?
If yes, it would appear the issue is with the connection from the workstation to the server. Since it was working before, have you tried rebooting your computer to re-establish the connection?
