Error message on newly installed ACT Pro v.21

I recently bought and installed ACT Pro v.21 on my new laptop. It worked perfectly for a couple of days, and now I get this error message. "The computer could not be reached because the IP address "" could not be resolved. Verifying the computer is available on the network, that it has the correct IP address, and the Microsoft SQL Server is properly installed may resolve the issue." See attachment Why is this error window popping up? Also I can't open any of my 3 databases (which I migrated from ACT 2012 to v.21). Also my MS Outlook application takes a long time to open up and I get an error message window that ops up saying "The ACT address book service is not properly configured, or the database is locked." Can someone please advise why this is happening? Thanks!

Re: Error message on newly installed ACT Pro v.21

Click on start menu type Service

Click on Services desktop app

Scroll down to SQL Server (Act7) , is it running?

If not right click on it and select start, did it start?

If it is now running try opening ACT again.
