We have the following version of Act - Sage ACT! Pro 2012 Version 14.1.108.0, Hot Fix 7
Is there an easy fix to this? Or is it time to update...?
This is the error that pops up when attempting to back up our database. This is something that has just begun.
Never used to have problems backing up.

Brittany,
Thanks. Our server is: SQL - Server 2008 - Express (64 bit), SP1, Build.
Do I have to run this manually from Microsoft?
Note: This DBFixer only works for Act! versions 2013 and later. If you are using an earlier version, you must manually download the Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 SP1 update and CU6. For information on how to do this, refer to Microsoft. After manually running the update, it may be necessary to perform the steps in Option 2 in this article.
And if so, do you have a link?

Hello,
Yes you will need to download and install the update from microsoft directly. The download links are http://support2.microsoft.com/hotfix/KBHotfix.aspx?kbnum=2679367&kbln=en-us for cumulitive update 6, and https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=5842 is for service pack1 update.
You will need to install it on the main database and any remote database as well as running the bat file at the bottom of the knowlege base article until it shows 0 rows effected.
Thank You,
James Starks
