I recently bought the new Act v12. Was always working on v10, the database I had there I opened in v12 with now problems.
Whenever I try to create a new database from File - New Database I keep on getting this error:
"Customized Cultures cannot be passed by LCID, only by name"
and then it only has an option to say OK and then press ok and nothing happens.
When I try an create a new database from the home screen under Getting started, it gives me this error:
"ACT! encountered an error performing your request. Please contact your administrator for assistance"
Please help me.

Welcome to the ACT! Online Community. Please try the following steps to resolve this issue:
If the "gd-GB.nlp" file is not present, then look instead for a file named en-US-1.nlp or nokiatl-ph-nokia.nlp instead and rename.
Note: Effective 6/1/13, Sage no longers provides support for the Act! software. This is now provided by Swiftpage.
