I signed up for Act 2011 yesterday... I got pretty good tech support yesterday but was unable to get my old database with act 2007 incorportated into Act 2011, I got the following error message: Exceptions occurred while executing the database Schema Update Script.
Contact your Administrator for assistance.
Now having spent 45 minutes on hold for Act support, my enthusiasm for this company is sliding fast.

I see from our records that you were able to get access to a support analyst this morning and have successfully updated/opened your database.

We are considering the same update in the next few weeks. Could you give a brief summary of what went wrong and how it was fixed?
Is there anything to do that will prevent the problem?

The notes for this case indicated that the resolution was to copy the database to a different workstation, where the conversion was successful. We have also seen instances where a reboot of the computer the conversion is being performed on resolves the issue.
