Cannot acces the database, Check you network connection and verify that the database server is available. It may be necessary to disable firewall software. This message appeared from no where. No problem at all when I last accessed the database about two
weeks ago. How do I get around this issue??

Hi Ken you don't mention if you access the ACT! database over the network or if it's a local database. If it's a local one make sure the SQL service is running OK you should see this is the list of services on your machine SQL Server (ACT7) if it has stopped, start it and then try logging in to ACT!
If it's on the network you will need to check a few things, is the database shared correctly, has the SQL been allowed through the machines firewall and so on.
