Error Message when trying to open ACT 2010

This is the message I get when I try to open ACT, can anyone tell me what it means?

Microsoft.Practices.Unity.ResolutionFailedException: Resolution of the dependency failed, type = "Act.UI.ActApplication", name = "". Exception message is: The current build operation (build key Build Key[Act.UI.ActApplication, null]) failed: Access to the path 'C:\Users\Trisha\AppData\Roaming\ACT\ACT For Windows 12\DependentDlls.xml' is denied. (Strategy type BuildPlanStrategy, index 3) --->

Re: Error Message when trying to open ACT 2010

I would look at the current users read/write access to this folder:

'C:\Users\Trisha\AppData\Roaming\ACT\ACT For Windows 12\DependentDlls.xml'

The error states "Access to the path"

Make sure the user has full privileges to this folder.

I checked all security settings and that doesn't seem to be the issue.

Try deleting the preferences using actdiag then setting them up again.
