When I start Outlook 2007 I can an error that tells me that the ACT Address Book service is not configured. When I try to enter the password for the database it just hangs. I just want to stop seeing this idiot error. Can anyone tell me how to make it go away?

Welcome to the ACT! Online Community. For this error, please see KB 13531. Click the hyperlink for "Removing the Address Book from the Registry" at the top of the article and follow the instructions for that section. A primary cause for this error is an invalid address book entry.
Note: Effective 6/1/13, Sage no longers provides support for the Act! software. This is now provided by Swiftpage.
